Connamara Expands Sales Team

Connamara Adds Daniel Curry to Head Sales and Business Development

Connamara, the premier provider of matching engine technology for frontier and startup exchanges, has added Daniel Curry as Director of Sales and Business Development. The newest Connamara team member will be leveraging his experience in growing new businesses in the capital markets arena.

In this new role, Mr. Curry will focus on the Connamara strategy of expanding the Connamara cloud exchange offering, designated contract market consulting, and software engineering services. In this capacity, Mr. Curry will be reporting directly to Jim Downs, founder and CEO of Connamara.

Jim Downs, says of the new hire, “We are very excited to add Dan to our team. Dan has demonstrated the capability of building lines of business and creating marketing and sales teams to foster growth.”

Prior to joining Connamara, Mr. Curry had a lengthy tenure at Spryware, which was acquired by Pico Quantitative Trading, LLC in 2014. Mr. Curry continued with Pico until his departure to join Connamara. Prior to Spryware, Mr. Curry held posts at Interactive Data Corporation and Hyperfeed Technologies.

Mr. Curry relates, “It’s a very exciting time to be joining Connamara, Connamara has a proven track record of delivering results to the most demanding customers in the capital markets, and I am very pleased to be leading their business expansion at this stage in their development.”

Mr. Curry holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
